Bali is beautiful and the pace in Bali is slow. Both is great and caters to wonderful stimulating but relaxing holidays! In February 2012, after 6 months living and working in Singapore, Bali was our first and, I think, well-deserved holiday trip.
The island’s population is mostly Hindu and there are thousands of temples (some very prominent, some hidden treasures, but all stunning and a pleasure to visit and photograph!). I liked best to visit whatever attraction in the early light of the day – before the tourist buses arrive and the temperature gets too hot – and to combine this with a lazy afternoon…
